Rodeo Tales & Gypsy Trails: Treat Your Taste Buds

Another awesome recipe from the amazing Ms Mary Stoecklein at the Stoecklein Photography Workshop! It is fresh, fast and fabulous!!! We dined on this delicious dish one evening after a long day of photography. Oh my goodness...so good! (& not my regular for a summer meal....which would be a rodeo burger :) I definitely went back for seconds. I just loved it! Mary was kind enough to share her recipe and now I'm passing the favor on to you!

Treat Your Taste Buds ~ Tomato Salad:

Party Guest List

Grape Tomatoes (any tomato will work...I like the cute sweet delicious grape ones
Fresh Ball of Mozzarella Cheese ( You can use the grated Mozzarella too but fresh is best)
Fresh Basil (Yes...this recipe is the 1st time I'd ever used basil. :) I'm sheltered)
Balsamic Vinegar
Olive Oil

Cut tomatoes bite size and toss in large bowl.
Cut Mozzarella into small bite sizes and combine with Tomatos.
(I usually use 2/5 Mozzarella to 3/5 Tomatoes)

Next slice & dice up your fresh basil. Throw it in the cheesy tomato party!
( I used about 10 leaves. Depends on how much you are making...just add to your personal taste)

Lightly drizzle with Olive Oil

Drizzle with Balsamic Vinegar.
( I used more Balsamic Vinegar..I love it!)
