STOECKLEIN PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

Stoecklein Photography Workshop! ~ Part One
"Every photo needs to tell a story"
David Stoecklein

I had the opportunity to attend a photo workshop with the AMAZING David R. Stoecklein! It was a great weekend! I learned so much!

What is a Stoecklein photography workshop?
A small class of students gets one on one time with world famous photographer, David Stoecklein! Back light, shooting manual, Lightroom3, and more! I knew nothing....so I had LOTS to learn! Team roping, Branding, Ranch Roping, and Running Horses were just a few of the scenes that we had the oppurtunity to shoot! It was AWESOME!

Classmates:
The students in the class were amazing! Larenda, a Red Angus rancher from Montana. Cassie, a race track accountant from Washington. Last but certainly not least, Darrell Dodds, veteran photographer and Western Horseman publisher!
What a great group of people! THANK YOU to everyone for all your help! Couldn't have been part of a better group of people! I was definitely the novice & they were all so helpful!

Models:
Thank You to all the amazing models! The Zollinger family, Mike Seal, John Spencer, Boedie Evans, Taylor Stoecklein, numerous shaggy dogs, and a lone fox! Handsome, handy and so photogenic! THANK YOU!

THANK YOU to David & the entire Stoecklein family! Not only do you learn photography, they are amazing hosts! Delicious home cooked meals and they make you feel right at home!

Here is a link to some of the delicious dishes we enjoyed throughout the weekend!

Brett Zollinger Brand

Dave & I are standing in the same spot & he asks me if I got the shot. Scrolling through my camera....I see that I got it! I GOT IT! I GOT IT! .....and I proceeded to SCREAM that! (Those of you who have ever seen me get a strike bowling....you know exactly what I mean! :)
Dave is pretty sure that his hearing is damaged for life!

Ok, this was WILD! We had just finished up shooting the branding. Someone spots a fox just outside of the round pen. Dave says.....Go crawl out there & take some pictures Mindy.
OK! I army crawled out super close to this fox! It was crazy!
I was so close I had to zoom out!

At one point Dave asks how me settings were....I said I don't know.
What does it look like? I replied....It looks like I'm too close to a fox!

I would highly recommend these workshops for ANYONE! Here is a link to more info: Stoecklein Workshops http://stoeckleinphotography.com/workshops/
