Sour Cream Apple Pie

HAPPY FEBRUARY!!!! I LOVE FEBRUARY! I LOVE VALENTINE'S!

LOVE the opportunity to express gratitude

for the wonderful people in our lives!

All month long, Lil' Red Roan will be giving our friends a few things we think are fabulous!

Once upon at time I was an account manager for Stoecklein Publishing & Vogt Silversmiths. While traveling in Montana I visited my friend, Ryan, at Sagebrush Sirens. That is where I 1st had a taste of this DELICIOUS SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE!!! Ryan, was kind enough to share the recipe with me & now I'm going to pass this little slice of heaven on to you!

A variety of beautiful apples, washed up and ready to go!

THANK YOU to Mrs. Michelle Marriott, who I purchased this fabulous Pampered Chef Apple Slicer from. Made slicing apples much much easier!Using a pearing knife I cut them in half again for beautiful thin slices that cook perfectly

Sugar, Spice, & Everything Nice!
I recruited my Cousin 3 year old cousin, Ellie to help mix for me.
She did a great job!
Fresh Apples drenched in gooey deliciousness!
It just so happens that TWO pies fit on the pan so.....I did the recipe twice...more to share!

(ps. sometimes I put tin foil around the crust edges to keep them from getting too brown. Take off before the last 20 minutes of cooking)

Just out of the oven & ready for the topping!

UMM UMMM UMMMM!!!! Hot Out of the Oven & Ready to Share!

A little slice of heaven!

THANK YOU to Ryan at Sagebrush Sirens!
Thank you to her Grandma Irene for being such a great cook!

  1. Mindy - I love your cards. When I first looked - I thought ...that's the Big Hole. I looked closer and realized it was Renegade Way's aka "Wild Man"..my favorite stud muffin ;-)
