NOTICE : This article was written and shared in 2011 to showcase a very talented artist. I do not personally know Travis.  He was courteous enough to do a phone interview at the time.  I do not have current contact info. Lil' Red Roan does not sell rings or have association with anyone that is selling western wedding rings. This article for simply for entertainment purposes. Thank You.

Travis Stringer – WESTERN WEDDING RINGS & much more!!!
Here is a treasure that I just must share with all of my friends!
Travis Stringer and his mind blowing silver work! Crafting handmade, quality heirloom pieces, right here in the USA!!!
Here is a little bit about the artist .
Through adversity a silversmith was born. Travis was badly hurt in a saddle bronc riding accident. Looking for work and wanting to be self employed, Travis was really interested in Saddle Making. Lucky for us, there were no openings in the saddle making school. Fate stepped in and soon events would start Travis rolling towards silver engraving.
Miller’s Bit and Spur School was nearby and taught silversmith work. A month later, Travis had begun the journey as a silversmith. Travis also had the opportunity to spend some time with talented silversmith, Leon Gage, of Jordan Valley. 18 years later, he just keeps getting better.
Stringer says, “You can always get better and learn something. That is why I keep doing it.”
When asked what his favorite thing about his trade he replied “The gratification of finishing a piece that I’ve done a good job on.
Here are a few pieces that I thought Travis did an amazing job on!
Most challenging piece Stringer has done so far was his 1st Wedding Ring. Taking the challenge head on, here are a few of the amazing rings he's done!
