What do we do when it’s not winter or a rodeo?!?!?

Invite all the neighbors over for a BLOCK PARTY, of course!!!

Nothing fancy, gather friends, family, and neighbors around the ol' wood stove stove to enjoy a lil' summer fun! We were able to get together for some neighborhood fun atleast 4 times and it was fabulous every time. Time spent enjoying neighbors company, great people that live with in 5 miles and we never see each other. THANK YOU to everyone who joined in on the phone. I <3 this town!

Forgive me for the journal entry here but I had a few thoughts I'd jotted down the nights of our block parties and I just didn't want to forget the memories from this great summer!

May 16, 2011: Thankful for food cooked over a camp fire & Blessed with GREAT Neighbors!

Aug. 30, 2011: GREAT Block Party at the PINK House! THANK YOU so much to all my amazing neighbors. Great night with friends & family! I ♥ this town : )

Sept. 14, 2011: New block party players tonight! Thank you to Aunt Nancy, Annie and her crew for coming out to the block party.

Sept. 29, 2011: **GOOD NEWS: Block Party was a huge success! Over 20 neighbors gathered around the camp fire enjoying food, fun & great company! J2 even rode his horse down to the party. That's awesome! Also, I have superior fire starting skills. Got the camp fire rolling with 1 match, news paper, & kindling. (Much better than Regg & J2's failed attempts last time) **BAD NEWS: There was so much wood on the fire while cooking the hamburgers...I TOTALLY SINGED MY BANGS & EYEBROWS! Not all together a bad sacrifice for a good time
