Bronc Rider to Breakfast - Ham & Cheese Crossiant

A few summers ago, I was living in Gooding, Idaho. During certain times of the year the rodeo trail seemed like it went right through our living room. Friends would stop by on there way through for a place to lay over for the night or just grab a shower before they headed back down the road.

Well, my friends that stopped very often....knew that if they wanted a meal....they had best call in advance because if not....the fridge would be empty :) So here is a fast lil' concoction that we created as a "Go To" for the Bronc Rider Breakfast...or whatever meal it happened to be.

Party Guest List:
  • Refrigerator Crossiant Rolls
  • Ham Lunch Meat (Left Over Ham from Thanksgiving or Big Family Meal is the best but lunch meat is quick. You can use whatever meat suites your fancy)
  • Slices of Cheddar Cheese
  • Slices of Pepper Jack Cheese (or whatever your favorite cheese is...lol...really flexible recipe)
  • Mushrooms (omit if you don't like...& add whatever makes your heart skip a beat)
Directions:

Roll Out Your Croissant
Layer of Ham Slices
Stack Slices of Cheese Throughout
Top with some mouth watering mushrooms
Line a Cookie Sheet with Aluminum Foil & then spray with cooking spray
(Not manditory but sure makes the clean up a LOT easier)

Bake at 350 until Beautiful Golden Brown
(Mine Takes About 15 minutes but depends on oven, elevation, ect.)
Serve & Enjoy!
Make a full meal deal.. Pairs perfectly with a beautiful lush green salad & a tall cold glass of milk.
